Patricia E. Souchon Sanchez, MD, FACS, attended the Central University of Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela, and received her medical degree in 2004. Upon relocating to the United States, she served her internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in Houston, TX (2011-2012). Furthermore, she conducted her general surgery residency (2012-2014), surgical critical care fellowship (2014-2015), and trauma surgery fellowship (2015-2016) at the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine in Las Vegas, NV. In addition, Dr. Sanchez received board certification in general surgery (2014) and surgical critical care (2015) from the American Board of Surgery. She is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma as well as fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
